Watch Red Sox prospect Michael Chavis hit his first major league home run


Three days after notching his first major league hit, top Red Sox prospect Michael Chavis drilled his first big-league home run.

In the eighth inning of Tuesday night's game against the Tigers, Chavis put one over the Green Monster. The homer traveled an estimated 441 feet.
