The Sox will host the Minnesota Twins on Monday, April 18, as they continue their tradition of playing in the morning on Patriots' Day. The Boston Marathon is usually run on the same day, although that hasn't been the case since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The highlight of Boston's 2022 schedule is a trip to Wrigley Field to face the Chicago Cubs from July 1 to 3. That series will be the Red Sox' first visit to Wrigley since 2012.
