Eduardo Nunez is back in the Red Sox lineup Saturday, leading off and playing second base against the Orioles, after leaving the game Friday with a wrist injury.
Nunez collided with Orioles third baseman Manny Machado in the second inning as Machado stole second. X-rays showed Nunez sprained his left wrist and thumb.
Nunez, acquired from the San Francisco Giants before the July 31 trade deadline and has hit .340 with six homers, 20 RBI and a .945 OPS for Boston.
