Gold Glove winners for the American and National Leagues were announced Sunday night on ESPN, and three Red Sox players came home with hardward.

Mookie Betts, one of the odds-on favorites for MVP, earned his third straight honor after another stellar season in right field:

His partner in center, Jackie Bradley Jr., earned his first of his career. Some of the all-time best catches ever made by a Boston centerfielder went down in 2018 . . .

Second baseman Ian Kinsler, who appeared in 37 regular-season games for the Red Sox after arriving from the Los Angeles Angels at the trade deadline, won the second of his career. The 36-year-old former four-time All-Star earned the first of his career in 2016 with the Detroit Tigers.
