The wheels don't ever stop turning.

In the midst of free agency season, Saturday proved to be another big day for one of the league's franchises -- this time, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers agreed to a one-year deal, which is reportedly for $10 million according to Jon Heyman, with outfielder J.D. Martinez, who most recently played with the Boston Red Sox.

During free agency, there was not much talk about where Martinez was headed, although speculations did lead to the Red Sox possibly re-signing him (as he played for the team from 2018-2022). And now that the news of his stint with Los Angeles has surfaced, it's safe to say the Dodgers have had their eye on him this whole time, but stealthily.

Martinez, who is represented by the Boras Corporation, is a 35-year-old Miami native who was a free agent. During his MLB career, he has played for the Detroit Tigers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Boston Red Sox.

Once he lands in Los Angeles, Martinez will reunite with a former Boston teammate who also made the switch to the west coast -- Mookie Betts.
