2023 NHL trade deadline tracker: Live blog of rumors and completed deals

The Bruins have traded a 2024 first round pick (top 10 protected) and a 2025 fourth round pick to the Detroit Red Wings for forward Tyler Bertuzzi.

This year's NHL trade deadline has been more exciting than any in recent memory.

We have seen a ton of trades over the last month, and pretty much every top player rumored to be available has found a new team.

The amount of player movement has been remarkable. Even in the last week we have seen many of the top contenders for the Stanley Cup make win-now moves for what they hope will be a long playoff run in the spring.

Bruins' trades give them the toughness, tenacity needed for 2023 playoffs

What do the last few hours before Friday's 3 p.m. ET deadline have in store for us? Could there be a surprise move or two that no one sees coming?

Flyers left wing James van Riemsdyk, Coyotes center Nick Schmaltz, Canucks right wing Brock Boeser and Ducks defenseman John Klingberg are the best players who could potentially be moved.

Follow the latest rumors, news and completed deals with our trade deadline live blog.
