According to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette, a 25-year-old East Boston man was arrested for pulling the fire alarm at the team hotel at around 3:40 a.m., interrupting the Steelers' rest before their AFC Championship Game against the Patriots tonight in Foxboro.
While it's one of the oldest tricks in the book for fans of the home team to pull, former Steelers All-Pro guard Alan Faneca tweeted that the Pittsburgh players should be used to it.
According to Mass. State Police, Dennis Harrison was arrested after he was found walking on the hotel property after he pulled the alarm. He was charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and pulling a false alarm and was being held by state police pending bail.
Fire trucks arrived, but the hotel was not fully evacuated.
