CSNNE Red Sox insider Sean McAdam appeared on Danny Picard's "I'm Just Sayin'" podcast today to talk about everything from Jon Lester's struggles to Red Sox trade options.
Picard asked how long the Sox will allow Lester -- who dropped another decision last night to fall to 5-7 -- to continue to work through his struggles.
McAdam relayed that while there are certainly options to replace Lester, such as Franklin Morales who was recently relegated to the bullpen, Lester is not yet "at the Daniel Bard phase where you can't just go out and reasonably expect to win games where he pitches."
