Wizards finally complete Trevor Ariza trade, send former Celtic enemy Kelly Oubre to Phoenix

The notorious Kelly Oubre, perhaps the only Kelly Boston fans don't like, is headed to the Western Conference.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Wizards and Suns have agreed to a trade sending Trevor Ariza to Washington for Oubre and Austin Rivers, son of former Celtics coach Doc Rivers.

Late Friday night, the Suns, Grizzlies and Wizards had agreed in principle to a three-team deal sending Ariza to Washington. The proposed trade included Oubre and Rivers going to Memphis and MarShon Brooks going to the Suns. Only the Suns thought they were getting Dillon Brooks, so the deal died.

Oubre getting dealt from the Wizards ends an era where he was one of Celtics fans' least favorite players. Back in the second round of the 2017 playoffs between the Celtics and Wizards, Oubre took exception to a screen set by Kelly Olynyk by shoving him to the ground. Oubre was ejected from the game, and it resulted in Celtics fans starting an interesting chant directed at him two games later.

Olynyk ended up getting the last laugh, scoring 27 points in a legendary Game 7 performance.

Olynyk is now in Miami, and Oubre is headed to Phoenix where Celtics fans will only see him once a year.

What was once the hottest rivalry in the NBA has faded away thanks to the high volume in player movement. As of right now, who knows who the Celtics' biggest rival is?
