When it comes to the Boston Celtics-Brooklyn Nets first-round playoff series, Stephen A. Smith says that it's going to come down to greatness.
What might that mean for the Celtics?
According to Smith, it means that we're going to find out that Nets superstar Kevin Durant remains on a level that no one else is.

"I expect the greatness of Kevin Durant to come shining through, I think that Kyrie Irving is going to put on a show as well, but that won't stop Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown from putting on their version of a show," Smith said on NBA Countdown on Sunday. "The dynamic duo in Boston vs. the dynamic duo in Brooklyn. Of course other people will be around, the Marcus Smarts of the world, and others to make their contribution."
However, Smith is of the mind that Durant will be too much for the Celtics to overcome over the course of seven games.
"The series going to be close enough where it's going to come down to greatness and we're going to find out that Kevin Durant is just on a level that no one else is on," Smith said.

Durant, 33, was fourth in the NBA in points per game in 2021-22 with 29.9, the third-highest mark of his 14-year career.
