Report: Rockets shopping Dwight Howard

The NBA trade deadline is shaping up to be another wild one, with at least one superstar reportedly available.

Yahoo! Sport's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Rockets are shopping five-time All-NBA First Teamer, three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, and eight-time All-Star Dwight Howard.

Of course, if Howard was still playing at the level of those award-winning seasons, he might not be on the block.

But the Rockets have stumbled through the first 55 games of the season to a 27-28 record, and it's clear they don't have the talent to compete with the top teams in the West.

Howard also reportedly plans to opt out of his contract at the end of the season, making him an unrestricted free agent.

While Howard is clearly past his prime, he's still a strong defensive presence in the middle.

So, the question is . . . will the Celtics bite?
