Potential No. 1 pick Markelle Fultz has agreed to a multi-year endorsement deal with Nike, Fultz announced on Twitter.
The Celtics hold the top pick in the NBA draft on Thursday night and many expect them to select Fultz, 19, a point guard from the University of Washington.
The sports apparel giant turned down a deal with Lonzo Ball, projected by many to go with the No. 2 pick to the Los Angeles Lakers, after Ball’s father, LaVar, demanded that Nike license LaVar Ball’s Big Baller Brand.
