Celtics wing Jaylen Brown has been ruled out of Friday's contest with a right hamstring strain, the team announced. Big man Robert Williams (left knee tendinopathy) and point guard Dennis Schroder (left ankle sprain) both are questionable for the game at TD Garden.

Brown has missed Boston's last six games after injuring his hamstring in a Nov. 4 win over the Heat in Miami. He was upgraded to questionable after Wednesday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks, but the Celtics have been cautious with their young All-Star, who dealt with a similar hamstring issue in March 2020.

Williams missed Wednesday's game in Atlanta, while Schroder popped up on the injury report Thursday.
The Lakers could have both of their biggest stars on the court Friday; Anthony Davis is probable with a right thigh contusion, while James is questionable with an abdomen injury but reportedly expected to suit up for the first time in two weeks.
