Boston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez picked a good time to end his streak of 127 consecutive at-bats without a home run.

The Red Sox and New York Yankees were tied at two runs apiece in the top of the fifth inning Tuesday afternoon when Vazquez launched a massive homer into the Yankee Stadium seats.

The home run put the Red Sox up 3-2.

The Red Sox could really use a little more offense from Vazquez, who hit just .236 in July and is hitting .219 so far in August.
