Red Sox-Rays lineups: Leon to catch Porcello

Share

Sandy Leon makes his second start of the season as Rick Porcello looks for his first victory and the Red Sox (7-13) look to do something they've done only once this season - win two in a row.

Leon, called up from Triple-A Pawtucket this week after Blake Swihart was designated for assignment, caught Chris Sale's start in an 8-0 loss at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night. He'll try to help turn around Porcello, who brings a hefty 11.12 ERA into his start at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. He hasn't lasted longer than 4 2/3 innings in any of his first three starts this season.

The AL East-leading Rays counter with ex-Astros right-hander Charlie Morton (2-0, 2.18), signed as a free agent in the offseason.
