BOSTON -- The losing continues, unabated.The Red Sox lost their third straight and sixth in their last eight games Wednesday, thumped by the Los Angeles Angels ofAnaheim, 7-3.Clay Buchholz turned in his worst start since his first outing of the season, bashed for a season-high 12 hits and seven runs in just 5 13 innings. The loss was his first since July 14.The Angels, who arrived in Boston in a funk of their own, scored twice against Buchholz in both the third and fourth and chased him with three more in the sixth, with the final tworuns coming after Juinichi Tazawa allowed two inherited runners to score.The defeat means the Angels will win the series, which concludes Thursday, and leaves the Red Sox without a series win in their last six series, during which they're 0-5-1.The Sox broke through against Jered Weaver in the fourth on a Wall double by Ryan Lavarnway -- resulting in his first RBI of the season -- and another double from Mike Aviles.Cody Ross's run-scoring double into the right field corner in the eighth scored Dustin Pedroia and accounted for the final of the night.
