The New England Revolution will officially kick off their 2013 campaign in Week 2 when they travel to Chicago on Saturday, March 9 after a bye in Week 1, the team announced on Monday.
New England split their season series with the Fire in 2012, losing 2-1 on August 18 in Chicago and winning 1-0 on October 20 in Foxboro.
The Revs also revealed the date of their 2013 home opener, a March 23 contest against FC Dallas. In the only meeting of 2012 between these two teams, New England fell, 1-0, in Dallas.
