FOXBORO -- The New England Revolution played their last home game on Saturday night, and made the best of it, defeating the Kansas City Wizards, 1-0, at Gillette Stadium.

Shalrie Joseph points finger at himself for frustrating year

Marko Perovic was named 2010 Revolution MVP prior to the game, but captain Shalrie Joseph was the hero on this night.

Joseph scored the only goal of the game, in the 31st minute, after he received a deep pass from midfielder Chris Tierney. Joseph tapped the pass past Wizards goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen with his head, and was then able to put the ball into the open net for the 1-0 lead, and eventual win.
