
A year after reaching the Stanley Cup Final, the Bruins are back atop the NHL standings.
The B's have racked up 37 points in 24 games this season, and they've only suffered three regulation losses — none on home ice.
So clearly Bruce Cassidy's team has plenty to be thankful for as the season reaches Thanksgiving, a benchmark date for a team's postseason chances; NHL teams in a playoff spot at the end of November have qualified for the playoffs around 80 percent of the time over the last 20 years.
David Pastrnak leads the league in goals, while Pastrnak and Brad Marchand are both in the Top 5 in overall scoring. Meanwhile Tuukka Rask and Jaroslav Halak both rank in the Top 10 in both save percentage and goals against average for a team ranked third in the league in defense.
With that in mind, the Bruins have plenty to be thankful for in this season of giving, so here’s a list of what every Bruins player — along with the coaches and executives — is thankful for on this enjoyable Turkey Day.
