Tuukka Rask is now the winningest goaltender in Bruins history.
With the B's victory over the Capitals on Sunday afternoon, Rask earned his 253rd win with the franchise to overtake Cecil “Tiny” Thompson. Thompson was 252-153 with 63 ties, while Rask is 253-145-56.
Rask's milestone comes in his second game after returning from a concussion suffered Jan. 19 against the Rangers.
Injury aside, the 2014 Vezina Trophy winner finished off what was a strong January in which he went 6-0-1.
