FINAL SCORE: Bruins 7, Rangers 4
IN BRIEF: After spotting the Rangers a 1-0 lead just 10 minutes into this Sunday night showdown at MSG, the Bruins turned on the afterburners to reel off five straight and take the lead for good. That included what may have arguably been the Bruins’ best period of play so far in 2019-20, scoring four goals in the second and out-shooting New York 21-5 for the period. Patrice Bergeron netted a hat trick to lead a ridiculous 13-point effort from the Perfection Line, which also saw Brad Marchand (2-3-5) and David Pastrnak (0-5-5) dazzle.
BRUINS RECORD: 8-1-2 (18 points, 2nd in Atlantic Division)
