Morning Skate: Rask talks about Bruins' trade of Boychuk

Here are all the links from around the hockey world, while remaining stupefied at the 2 hours and 15 minutes it took me to drive from Newton to the B’s practice facility in Wilmington this morning.  Thanks, Route 128!

-- Tuukka Rask sits down with Sportsnet to talk about last season, and -- among other things -- the gut punch Johnny Boychuk trade that really stunned this team right before the regular season.

-- Jordan Eberle is injured for the Edmonton Oilers, and that means things aren’t exactly off to a grand start with the Oil.

-- Elliotte Friedman says there are more questions than answers when it comes to the NHL expansion saga in Quebec City and Las Vegas.

-- The San Jose Sharks will be depending heavily on their goaltending getting the job done for them this season, so Martin Jones needs to step up in a big way. But if he doesn’t, that first-round pick from San Jose is going to look awfully good for the Bruins.

-- Got to love Don Cherry defending Jonathan Papelbon for confronting Bryce Harper after he dogged it out of the box on a fly ball. He probably should have done it privately, but somebody on that Nationals team needed to let Harper know that’s the right way to play ball, MVP season or no MVP season.

-- Dan Bylsma is taking on the role of part cheerleader/part teacher in trying to turn things around for the Sabres in Buffalo.

-- For something completely different: The Chicago Bulls' Derrick Rose is hurt again. Stop me if you’ve seen this movie before.
