Morning Skate: No B's on list of 20 best free agents of '16

Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading on a Sunday after watching a wholly uneventful game at Fenway Park last night. What a boring team this group of Red Sox has turned out to be this season in addition to being terrible in the win/loss department.

* A group of NHL players had a “bro-tastic” weekend cheering and following around golf pro Jason Day, and putting themselves on the fan side of things for once.

* Dallas Stars head coach Lindy Ruff is definitely under pressure headed into this season after missing the playoffs with a talented crew last year.

* Congrats to No. 1 Boston Bruins fan and FOH (Friend of Haggs) Liam Fitzgerald, who set a Guinness Book of World Record’s mark for largest number of fist bumps in once place along with the Lowell Spinners this weekend.

* PHT writer James O’Brien has the breaking news that Brooks Laich and Julianne Hough are now engaged to be married. It’s great that hockey peoples are announcing their marriage while divorce is hot in Hollywood right now.

* A nice profile of regular guy Sidney Crosby hanging out in Nova Scotia and keeping it real during the offseason.

* The Hockey News has the 20 best free agents that could hit the market in 2016, and there isn’t a single Boston Bruins player among them. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but Milan Lucic is definitely on the list.

* Malcolm Subban called into Sportsnet 590 in Toronto to talk about the approaching 2015-16 season with the Boston Bruins.

*For something completely different: this is definitely something to be sad about. The people that own the Goonies House have outlawed people from coming to visit the property as they’d been doing for the last 30 years. Chunk would not approve.
