*Good piece from Venice Magazine on FOH (Friend of Haggs) Shawn Thornton as he walks away from the NHL after a career he should be very proud of.

*Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon says that he will always have a special place in his heart for Chicago going back to his time with the Blackhawks.

*The effort by the Stars organization to continue growing the game of hockey in the great state of Texas is always there.

*Damien Cox says that Canadians are going to have to learn to love Olympic hockey without NHL players being involved in the short term, and perhaps in the long term too.
