The Boston Bruins snapped a two-game losing streak in a big way against the New York Rangers.
After scoring just one goal combined over the course of their last two games, the Bruins went off for four goals against the Rangers. They chased Alexander Georgiev from the game after scoring four goals against him on 14 shots and gave themselves plenty of breathing room for the win.
The biggest news from Thursday's game was that David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk both scored. Krejci had yet to score on the season and after Semyon Varlamov denied him of a goal in spectacular fashion on Tuesday, it felt like that was never going to happen. But he notched a power-play goal in the second period that was followed up by DeBrusk's goal.

Speaking of DeBrusk, he responded well to his Tuesday-night benching against the Islanders, getting the goal and creating some other chances for the B's to score.
On the other end of the ice, Jaroslav Halak had a terrific game. He stopped all 28 of the shots that he faced, including 14 in the first period, to earn his second shutout of the season.
In other news, Brad Marchand passed Ken Hodge for ninth in all-time Bruins points via his assist on David Pastrnak's game-opening goal.

Meanwhile, the triage of DeBrusk, Jakub Zboril, and Zach Senyshyn played a game at the NHL level for the first time. The three were selected with consecutive first-round picks (Nos. 13-15) in the 2015 NHL Draft.

The scoring for the Bruins started, as it often does, with David Pastrnak. He knocked home a long-range one-timer to give the Bruins an early 1-0 lead in the first period.
Before the period closed, the Perfection Line got on the board again. This time, Brad Marchand found Patrice Bergeron for a goal of the shorthanded variety after a ridiculous move to get around one of the Rangers.
Early in the second period, the Bruins drew a power play opportunity. Shortly thereafter, David Krejci would score and finally log his first goal of the season.
A minute and 21 seconds later, Jake DeBrusk finally got off the schneid. After being benched against the Islanders, DeBrusk found the back of the net to extend the Bruins game to 4-0.
