Highlights: Bruins fall to Capitals in shootout, 2-1

The Boston Bruins and Washington Capitals were scoreless heading into the third period of Wednesday night's matchup, then things got really interesting.

David Pastrnak got the Bruins on the board first in the third, but the Caps quickly answered with an equalizer from Lars Eller. The two teams went into overtime where Tuukka Rask put on a show in net for the B's and forced a shootout. Unfortunately for Boston, the Caps were able to come out on top.
