*PHT writer Ryan Dadoun has Pavel Bure leading the charge for a World Legends Hockey League that’s almost like the senior tour in the PGA.

*Veteran Russian defenseman Sergei Gonchar has signed a contract tryout agreement with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

*FOH (Friend of Haggs) Kirk Luedeke has a Twitter mailbag addressing plenty of topics that concern the Bruins fan base.

*New Jersey Devils GM Ray Shero says that the Devils may add more players prior to NHL training camp in September. I would expect that the Bruins might add another veteran or two to their camp roster over the next month.

*Josh Gorges cherishes his memories with the Montreal Canadiens, but is excited about what awaits the up-and-coming Sabres in Buffalo.

*The Hockey News explains why Carl Hagelin’s four year, $16 million contract looks good for the Anaheim Ducks.

*The Puck Daddy summer series continues with everything you wanted to know about the A-Z of the Minnesota Wild organization.

*For something completely different: a Calgary couple has replicated their kitchen to look just like the one in the Simpsons’ house.
