Charlie McAvoy's Game 4 goal was a historic one for Boston University

The Bruins earned a big win on Wednesday night vs. the Maple Leafs. It also happened to be a big win for Boston University.

BU alum Charlie McAvoy got the B's on the board early in the first period of Game 4. Charlie Coyle and Matt Grzelcyk, also BU alums, assisted on McAvoy's goal.

Obviously, it was a pretty cool moment for Boston University hockey. Making it even cooler? It's the first time in NHL history a goal by a BU alum was assisted on by two former Terriers.

Considering the amount of NHL talent that regularly comes out of Boston University, that's a crazy stat.

McAvoy, Coyle, and Grzelcyk will look to continue making BU proud when the B's face the Leafs in Game 5 on Friday night.
