Bruins' Zdeno Chara honors Brad Marchand's 100-point season with Instagram post

Brad Marchand became the first Boston Bruins player in 16 years to reach the 100-point mark in a single season during Tuesday night's win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Marchand now has scored better than a point-per-game over the last two seasons, forcing his way into the NHL's elite. The veteran left winger also received a congratulatory Instagram post from Bruins captain Zdeno Chara on Wednesday.

Check it out in the photo and caption below:

Marchand and Chara have been teammates in Boston since the forward made his NHL debut during the 2009-10 campaign. The two of them have enjoyed a lot of special moments and accomplishments together, including a Stanley Cup championship in 2011.

The Bruins need both of them to carry their impressive regular-season success into the playoffs if they're going to make another title run.
