BOSTON -- The Bruins will get yet another different look when they lace them up against the Montreal Canadiens Saturday night at the Bell Centre.
Bruins coach Claude Julien shook the lines up at practice one more time, and went with a little of something old and something new. The Bs coach reunited the struggling David Krejci with Nathan Horton and Milan Lucic as one forward group, and inserted Tyler Seguincoming off one of a rare subpar game against the Habs on Thursday nightat the wing alongside Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. Seguin paired with Bergeron and Marchand is most intriguing given the offensive upside that both Bergeron and Marchand have potentiallyfinishing off plays set up by the 19-year-old playmaker.
That means Rich Peverley and Chris Kelly have been paired with Jordan Caron in practice. Benoit Pouliot was absent after his coach termed him sick following the first game against his former Montreal hockey club.
What did you expect me to do? said Claude Julien. Its a coach trying to find answers; its as simple as that.
Were at a stage right now where you dont want to live in the past and say this is what happened. You want to look at whats happening right now, be realistic and acknowledge that this is whats happening right now. Weve got to as a group turn it around. I dont have 30 answers. I just have one and its figuring out how to get this thing done.
The new lines in practice on Friday morning:
Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin
Lucic-Krejci-Horton
Caron-Kelly-Peverley
Paille-Campbell-Thornton
Boston Bruins
Chara-Boychuk
