The Boston Bruins announced Friday they've re-signed Trent Frederic to a two-year contract with an annual NHL cap hit of $1.05 million.
The 23-year-old forward notched four goals and one assist in 42 games while averaging 11:15 of ice time with the Bruins in 2020-21. He made his NHL debut with Boston against the Winnipeg Jets on Jan. 29, 2019, notably dropping the gloves with then-Jets winger Brandon Tanev.
Frederic was selected by the Bruins with the 29th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-1, 230-pounder tallied 27 goals and 38 assists in 127 games with the Providence Bruins from 2017-20.
