While Boston's offense is primarily being carried by Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak, the Bruins will get a little help in the secondary scoring department Tuesday night.
David Krejci is set to return from an upper-body injury against the San Jose Sharks -- it'll be his first game since sustaining the injury against the Anaheim Ducks on October 14. The 33-year-old has tallied one assist through five games played this season for Boston.
Krejci isn't the only one returning to the lineup for the B's. Chris Wagner will draw back in after missing one game due to lingering effects from a blocked shot in Boston's 3-0 win over the St. Louis Blues Saturday.
Even with Krejci and Wagner returning, Anders Bjork remains in the lineup -- a chance to continue to prove his worth to head coach Bruce Cassidy. He'll play on a line with Charlie Coyle and Brett Ritchie while Danton Heinen gets a shot on Krejci's right wing.
The Sharks, without a doubt, have struggled this season at 4-7-1 and will be looking to turn things around in Boston. However, the B's don't seem to be letting up at 8-1-2 with a chance to tie their best 12-game start in franchise history set in 1929-30. San Jose has not beat Boston since 2016 and hasn't won a game at TD Garden since 2015.
