How hot is David Pastrnak?
Hotter than any player in the NHL in nearly 30 years.
Pastrnak's hat trick in Montreal on Tuesday night in the Bruins' 8-1 blowout of the Canadiens gave him 23 goals in 24 games. No one in the NHL has gotten off to a better start since Hall of Famers Mario Lemieux in 1992-93 and Brett Hull in '90-91.
In fact, four Hall of Famers are on that list. That's some impressive company for the Bruins' 23-year-old forward.
