In a show of confidence that goes along with taking a three-point lead in the wild card standings over the weekend, the Boston Bruins have announced a sale date of Friday, April 3 for the sale of individual game tickets and suite rentals for the first round of the playoffs.
With a pair of wins over the weekend against the Rangers and the Carolina Hurricanes, the Senators dropped a pair of games to the Maple Leafs and the Panthers while dropping back comfortably behind the Black and Gold. According to sports club stats, the Bruins now have a solid 72.7 percent chance of making the playoffs up from what was hovering around 33.3 percent in the middle of their just-banished six game losing streak.
The wins over the weekend also allowed the Bruins to take a three-point lead in the ROW (Regulation/overtime wins) that serves as the first tiebreaker should teams have the same amount of points after 82 games.
Individual tickets will be available for purchase starting at 11 a.m. at the TD Garden Box Office, on bostonbruins.com, on the Bruins mobile app, and via phone by calling Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000. Single game suite rentals that accommodate from 18-30 fans and the Garden Greats Suite will also be available.
