Brandon Carlo left Thursday night's game between the Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins with an upper-body injury.
The Bruins ruled the defenseman out for the remainder of game after the first period. It's currently unclear whether Carlo's injury is related to the concussion he suffered last month on a hit by Washington Capitals winger Tom Wilson.

Carlo missed 10 games before returning to the ice Tuesday night vs. the New Jersey Devils.
Also injured in the first period was B's defenseman Jeremy Lauzon. The 23-year-old sustained a cut that required stiches but returned to action in the second period.
