Tom Brady's incredible NFL career is coming to an end.

ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington, citing sources, reported Saturday afternoon that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is retiring after 22 seasons.

Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion, holds many league records and is widely considered the best QB/player in pro football history.

The 44-year-old quarterback was selected by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft, and he would go on to win six titles over 20 seasons with the AFC East franchise before leaving to join the Bucs in 2020 as a free agent. Brady won his seventh championship with the Buccaneers in 2020.
