New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady walking up the steps and onto the field for training camp each summer pretty much serves as the unofficial start to the NFL season.
Brady was greeted to a huge ovation Thursday as Patriots training camp started at Gillette Stadium.
This is the first time many fans are seeing Brady on a football field since he led the Pats to a Super Bowl LIII victory over the Los Angeles Rams back in February.
Brady is entering his 20th season in the NFL and will turn 42 on Aug. 3. However, Patriots running back James White said Wednesday that you'd think Brady is 25 or 26 years old given the energy and excitement he brings to the team.
It's pretty clear the competitive fire that burns within Brady is still going strong as the Patriots embark on their quest to win what would be a record-breaking seventh Super Bowl championship this season.
