New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski didn't take long to make his presence felt in Sunday's Week 12 game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
Gronkowski hauled in a touchdown reception near the end of the first quarter to tie the score 7-7. Brady dropped back on 3rd-and-12 and fired a strike to Gronkowski, who made a really nice catch against a Jets defensive back for the score.
Here's a replay of the touchdown:
The touchdown was Gronkowski's first since the Patriots' Week 1 win over the Houston Texans. Gronkowski is making his return to New England's offense after missing the team's Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
The New York Daily News writer Manish Mehta might want to re-consider his scathing critique of Gronk earlier in the week.
