Watch Patriots go crazy when Bill Belichick declares a “Victory Monday” after win vs. Eagles

The New England Patriots won a hard-fought game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and head coach Bill Belichick rewarded his players with their first "Victory Monday" of the season.

"Victory Monday" means a day off, and while few things are better than a huge win in Philly, a free Monday is right up there.

The reaction to Belichick's declaration of a "Victory Monday" was pretty amazing, and the Patriots released a video of the moment on their website Monday (click the link in the tweet below).

Even though the players did not have to show up at Gillette Stadium on Monday, it's no surprise that many of them did anyway. One player who was present, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss, was quarterback Tom Brady.

The Patriots' 17-10 victory at Lincoln Financial Field helped them stay above the Baltimore Ravens in the race for the AFC's No. 1 seed in the playoffs. The toughest stretch of the Patriots' regular season schedule continues Sunday when the defending Super Bowl champs host another talented NFC East team, the Dallas Cowboys, for a Week 12 matchup at Gillette Stadium.
