Julian Edelman will go up against Rams head coach Sean McVay in Super Bowl LIII, but once upon a time the two hit the gridiron as opposing players in college.
Edelman, 32, was a quarterback for the Kent State Golden Flashes while McVay, 33, played wide receiver for the Miami University RedHawks. The two faced off against one another in 2006 and again in 2007.
