Tom Brady and Bill Belichick will participate in their ninth Super Bowl together on Feb. 3.
While there have been peaks and valleys along the way during their historic 19-year journey, the immense respect between the two future Hall of Famers is evident. The most recent example is when Brady and Belichick hugged it out after their AFC Championship win over the Chiefs.
That respect has existed from the beginning. NFL Films posted an awesome throwback clip of Belichick raving about his quarterback.
"He just knows the right thing to do," Belichick says of Brady. "You know, sometimes it's maybe even a situation that you haven't gone over - you haven't covered specifically - and then it comes up. And then you're kind of sitting there saying, 'Oh gee, here's what he should do but we haven't really covered that precisely,' and he does the right thing."
According to Patriots owner Robert Kraft, we should expect the Brady and Belichick era to last a while longer.
