Tom Brady says he's not giving Netflix series any more publicity

Tom Brady clearly wasn't very happy with the questions lobbed his way on Saturday afternoon at Gillette Stadium.

Less than 24 hours prior to that back-and-forth with reporters, his cameo on a Netflix series starring Paul Rudd hit the internet. It appeared to be a not-so-veiled reference at Patriots owner Robert Kraft and the charges he faced in Florida this offseason.

Brady insisted over the weekend that anyone making that link was incorrect, that things had been taken out of context

The Patriots quarterback never explicitly stated that the producers of the show did him wrong, but he did hint at that possibility when he pointed out his cameo was shot in front of a green screen, perhaps indicating he was somehow unaware of how things were going to look upon the show's release.

Asked about the cameo on WEEI's Greg Hill Show on Wednesday morning, Brady seemed to once again indicate that he wasn't thrilled with those in charge of the show, called "Living with Yourself."

"I think it's about publicity," Brady said. "I think that particular show got a lot of publicity, and I'm not going to give them any more than they've already gotten."

Patriots' conservative approach in key moments is holding them back

Whoever was to blame for Brady not knowing how the cameo would come off — whether it was the producers of the show, the talent agency Brady hired this summer (William Morris Endeavor) or Brady himself — Brady wanted to make it clear once again on Wednesday that he wasn't taking a shot at Kraft.

"Everyone knows how I feel about Mr. Kraft and how he's been one of the most important people in my life," Brady added. "We have a relationship that is incredibly important to me. He's been a part of the biggest moments in my life and a lot of the biggest decisions in my life.

"I have nothing but true love and respect for him. He does so much to help people out in our community and other communities it's just a real blessing to have him in my life and to play for him for 20 years. To work for his team has really been a dream come true."
