Tom Brady is having a self-aware Halloween, it appears.
The New England Patriots quarterback used Instagram early Thursday morning to show off his 2019 Halloween costume: a pretty impressive Stormtrooper outfit.
But more newsworthy was Brady's caption for the post.
"Thursday Practice Notes: Brady (QB) - Did Not Practice - Refused to take off stormtrooper helmet," Brady wrote.
That's a fitting caption considering Brady appeared on the team's actual injury report Wednesday as limited with a right shoulder injury.
Brady's injury spooked a lot of Patriots fans ahead of a tough road matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. But the fact that Brady seemingly joked about the injury the next day on Instagram suggests it probably isn't too serious.

The Patriots do have practice Thursday, though, so stay tuned on if the 42-year-old actually shows up -- and if he actually wears that Stormtrooper helmet. (Is that thing NFL-approved?)
And if he doesn't? Looks like backup QB Jarrett Stidham is ready.
