When you don't play in your team's preseason finale, you have to make your own entertainment.
Tom Brady took that to heart Thursday night by performing a little yoga on the New England Patriots' sideline as his teammates slogged through an eventual 31-29 loss to the New York Giants.
Brady's moment of zen drew a chuckle out of Julian Edelman at the time, and on Friday morning, the Patriots quarterback called his wide receiver on it.
Edelman, as always, was quick with a reply.
Brady as Mr. Miyagi and Edelman as "Daniel-san" actually checks out, as the QB and wide receiver have developed a "Karate Kid" mentor-mentee vibe during their NFL careers.
Edelman tallied one catch for 20 yards in limited action after an injury scare, while Brady didn't exert himself beyond that yoga session as rookie Jarrett Stidham played the whole game at QB.
