The New England Patriots have had some phenomenal defensive backs over the course of their 20-year dynasty. More specifically, they've had a few staples at safety who have been key contributors to each of their six Super Bowl titles.
But early on in the Patriots' dynastic run, it was Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor who had the reputation as one of the most fearsome, hard-hitting safeties in the National Football League. Taylor, who was murdered during a burglary attempt in November 2007, is the subject of a brand new episode of the Sports Uncovered podcast from NBC Sports.
The new Sports Uncovered episode delves into the life and death of Taylor, as well as the legacy he has left behind. You can check out the full episode below.
