New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has done enough to be the best Super Bowl player of all-time, at least according to Stephen A. Smith.
Smith unveiled his latest "Stephen's A-List" during Thursday's episode of "First Take" on ESPN, and this one focused on the best Super Bowl performers in NFL history. Four quarterbacks made his ranking, but the Patriots legend took the top spot.
Check out Smith's reasoning in the video below:
Smith's list is a good one. Brady and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Joe Montana are the clear top two, and if any non-quarterback was going to make the list, 49ers wide receiver Jerry Rice is the only option.
Brady will try to improve on his legacy by winning Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. It will be his ninth Super Bowl appearance with the Patriots, and a win would tie New England with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most Super Bowl victories (six) in league history. Brady already holds quarterback records with five Super Bowl titles and four Super Bowl MVP awards.
