Rob Gronkowski retired from the New England Patriots last offseason. And since he hung up the cleats, he has been enjoying himself.
After spending the offseason going to a number of sporting and charity events during the offseason, Gronkowski has taken the next steps for his career. He announced a partnership with a CBD company and this week, it was confirmed that he would be debuting as an analyst on FOX's NFL pregame coverage team.
As one would expect, Gronk's debut was comical. And here's a look at it via the FOX Sports official Twitter account.
While Gronk was reluctant to speak ill of the Patriots in the sketch, he did throw a little bit of shade at the team while speaking with the rest of the pregame crew.
"Let me tell you something," Gronkowski said. "Getting a deal done [with FOX Sports] was much easier than getting a deal done with the Patriots."

The Patriots have notoriously been tight with their money even when attempting to sign or re-sign star players. So, it's no surprise to hear that they gave Gronkowski some trouble in negotiations.
That said, Gronkowski's jab was one in good faith, as his relationship with the team seems to be nothing but positive.
