Rex Ryan: Just ‘BSing' about having inside sources at Gillette Stadium

Rex Ryan did his best to needle the Patriots after beating them on Sunday when he told reporters that he had an informant inside Gillette Stadium telling him that Jacoby Brissett -- not Jimmy Garoppolo -- would be starting at quarterback.

A day later, he said he was just kidding.

"That's just great because now I stirred the pot," Ryan told members of the Buffalo media, via NewYorkUpstate.com. "You know they're sitting back thinking, 'Who is it?'

"I was 'BSing' the whole time. But heck, if people are worried about it, that's awesome. That's good. Let them think."

The Bills held Brissett to 17-of-27 passing for 205 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in their 16-0 victory. They forced Brissett to fumble once, they limited the Patriots to 1-for-12 on third-down conversions, and they held Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Rob Gronkowski and Chris Hogan to just two catches.

If they didn't know who would be starting, they certainly played like they did.
