Patriots wide receiver Brian Tyms sustained a foot injury in practice on Wednessday that "is serious enough that it could threaten Tyms' season," according to an ESPN report.
Tyms, entering his third season in the NFL, played in 11 regular season games, starting two, and appeared in one playoff game last season for the Patriots. He had five catches for 82 yards and one touchdown, a 43-yard catch from Tom Brady against Buffalo that highlighted his potential as a deep threat.
