Pats-Jets practice report: Brady, Gronkowski on the field but sit out

FOXBORO -- Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski were both on the field and present for the start of Wednesday's practice. They took part in warmups. But when the participation report came out on Wednesday afternoon, both players were listed as non-participants. 

Brady is dealing with a shoulder injury that kept him out of Tuesday's practice. Gronkowski, meanwhile, has a thigh issue that sidelined him for last week's game with the Bucs. The 6-foot-6, 265-pound tight end was on the field for the start of Tuesday's practice, but the team was no required to release an injury report following that workout.

Nate Solder missed his second practice in as many weeks for a non-injury related reason, and Eric Rowe sat out Wednesday's session with a groin injury he aggravated during a Week 4 loss to the Panthers.
